Saints Row 3 vs Assassins Creed Revelations

Oh geez, these two games are coming out on the same day, which should I get first, which should i play first?
They are completely different games, but personally I'm looking forward to Saints Row 3.  ACR's trailers have shown a lot of cool action but little else.  Like where's the great storyline we've all come to love from AC? And where is Desmond?  SR3's trailers have also shown a lot of action with little substance, but that's what you want from a game like that, all of that zany customizations, but decide for yourselves

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, 4 days (rounding down)!!!

This is it. The home stretch.  The last mile. One more week until Skyrim. God I need to play this game, I need it in my soul.  To tell you the truth I couldn't give two squirts about Modern Warfare 3, maybe because I'm not fan of being called a fagot in my ear by a ten who doesn't even know what that word means.  I'm not a fan of multiplayer, and MW3 singleplayer's plot is so f@#$in convoluted that I have no clue what is going on.

But Skyrim, glorious Skyrim, it can not come soon enough, goodbye Fallout 3 being my favorite game, make way for Elder Scrolls V.

It can not get here fast enough for my tastes.

been awhile so onto some reviews

RAGE!!! not that good, extremely short

Dark Souls.... it will eat your soul.  It is so good, but a little too long.

Batman Arkham City, alot of people are saying this is this best game of the year, and I'd agree with them, if it was a little longer and had more catwoman missions

Uncharted 3, almost, so close, kinda sorta awesome.  it just didn't have the punch you'd come to expect, the plot was good in the beginning, ok in the middle, and just fell apart at the end. Mix that with some decent gameplay and i'd still rather be playing batman.

Dead Island Review+Resistance 3

IGN's review is pretty much self explanatory except I found the glitches to be insufferable and playing it solo had to cheat once or twice.  There is no way to get Ope to the burial site alive playing alone!!! He just jumps right into the fray and dies in 10 seconds... EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!  But enjoy a special extra treat of resistance 3 review below.  I did not find it as entertaining as the reviewer, but I haven't had time to beat it yet so who knows

D&D, the devils market.

I've recently started playing old school role playing games like D&D.  Now I loved the game, all the little things you could do and the only limit was the limit of your imagination.  So I scoured around for some local weekly gaming, and I found it.  You know the stereotypes of nerds playing D&D?  They're not stereotypes in this place.  It was a little annoying to see nerds in this day and looking like that.  Have they never heard of geek chic?

There were the kid nerds, all gangly pimple faced with braces.  There was the fat guys, with greasy unwashed hair, and other unwashed regions.  Seriously, what are nerds aversion taking showers?  There was this guy around 30 who was bald, and albino, but he was cool.  The guy with eczema on his legs that he couldn't stop scratching, they were so big they looked like spider eggs growing inside him.  Then there was the guy with nose hairs so long, you found your eyes just drift to them unconsciously.

Of course that's all par for the course when you search for a nerds sanctum, but please if any nerd reads this, shower at least once a day, and wash your hair.  No one likes greasy looking hair, gross.

There were a couple cool looking dudes there, those are the ones with the horrible personalities and no real social cues.  They were the terrible trolls and I had no nasty knife to slay them with.

Okay, so I thought it would go better, so I thought they would get my nerdy pop culturesque Doctor Whovian type jokes, turns out, a lot of D&D people are obsessed with only one thing, D&D.  I've met people who love D&D but also like other nerdy things, these guys were D&D and Magic the Gathering only, it was sort of sad and pathetic really.

I still love D&D, but I also have a life outside of it, so I ain't going back to that parlor anytime soon.  Also they weren't really friendly to outsiders, and a lot of them didn't seem to understand sarcasm.  The shower thing wasn't sarcasm fyi they really need it. p.s.  Eat something before you get there, no one wants to see you eating cold chicken from your fridge and drinking 2 litre bottle of soda right out of the bottle.  Two words: BACK WASH.

Deus Ex: HR Review plus Let's Kill Hitler

Been a while since I've posted anything but I just felt like posting something anything.  A few markers for todays posting, Deus Ex: Human Revolution came out this week and here is the review of it.

And next but certainly not least, the mid season premiere of Doctor Who's episode "Let's kill Hitler".

A great episode, but I feel like Doctor Who is getting more serious, like it's straining to smile through all the sad.  Though that's not anything new for Doctor Who, it does feel different.

That's all for now, but I'll be back in two weeks for my review of Dead Island, so stay tuned.

Ghost Story....

Oooooh am I so excited that Ghost Story is coming out in less than a week.  For those of you who do not know, I'm a complete Harry Dresden nut, and I am so looking forward to this.  Drumroll, I am going to Kansas City on Tuesday to do a meet and greet with author Jim Butcher!  That's right, the prophetic creator of our favorite supernatural Chicago P.I. is going to be with me (and a few others) the day of his book release.  I seriously almost cannot wait.

Shin Chan, the Pooing

I stand by my theory that Shin Chan may be the greatest thing since Star Wars, or at least their Star Wars parody is.  There is just to much to cover when it comes to the awesomeness of the Shin, but let's just say it's awesome.

Video Game Edition the second

Buh bum bbuuummmmm.  That's right Amusingers and Anecdoteists.  More video game extravaganza!!!
First up, an oldy but a goody, it's Saints Row!  More precisely Saints Row 3 which just looks spectacular.  Saints Row is most noted as being a sort of parody of Grand Theft Auto, at least at first.  The developers must have only seen the parody bit because Saints Row 2 really came into it's own.  Excited to see this one come out.

Next up, Prey 2.  For the few people who have played the original and wanted a sequel for a long time, well you got it, it just might not be the sequel you're looking for.  Don't get me wrong, I like the look of Prey 2, sort of Blade Runner meets I don't know what, but it's a big departure from the first game.  I'm still real hopeful though that this game will be great.

Darksiders 2, don't know about this one.  The first one wasn't that great, a mix of God of War and Legend of Zelda should be awesome right?  It was okay, but a renter not a buyer, and it looks like it's the same with the sequel.

Last sequel, though it kind of isn't.  Dark Souls is supposed to be the spiritual successor to Demons Souls, a personal favorite of mine.  And I can't wait to die 1000 times again in this game, getting really frustrated and throwing the controller down.

Last but certainly not least is Dead Island, the only non sequel game on the list.  I was about to say original but zombie games has been done to death, pardon the pun.  They do put an interesting twist though in that it's an open world RPG, in which you can upgrade your weapons, search the island for survivors and take missions you want to take, kinda like Fallout 3, or Borderlands.  Still I am a sucker for all zombie stuff, I even have a plan for the zombie apocalypse, so I can not wait for this game to come out.  It was supposed to come out this summer but got moved back to September which frustrates me.  Speaking of which.....

So I lied about Dead Island being the last one, but I'm sure everyone has heard of this game by now anyway.  The Last Guardian.  A game that not only refuses to come out, but refuses to even put a release date out there to get our hopes up.  She's playing hard to get this one, but I want it bad.  I cheated in the order of the games and played Shadow of Colossus first before Ico.  But they're so good and I really want to find out the mystery behind The Last Guardian even though I know I won't even when I beat the game because that is how Fumito Ueda's games are.

Video Game Edition part 1 and a 1/2

Sup3r excited for this game!  I got the first Darkness in a cheap bin, so I wasn't expecting much, but I loved it.  And I will love the sequel when it comes out as well.
Another indie fav of mine is getting made into a sequel, Metro 2033 was a great dark shooter/survival game.  So when the sequel Metro: Last Light was announced I squealed like a little girl.
Mass Effect 3, somehow I am just not as excited for this as I was for ME2.  It looks, nice, but it couldn't possibly top the second one without like blowing up the Earth.  Which, from what I've heard, they might blow up the Earth.
Last sequel of the day, Assassins Creed Revelations, looks awesome.  They need to answer the big questions, but not all of the questions, or else there won't be cool enough things to answer for Assassins Creed 3.

Mythbusters is getting better and better

Mythbusters is a great show, like it or leave it.

I'm a little tired so I'm not really putting my full effort into this one

The Real Rocketeer?

Jetpacks have always been fiction, not anymore as a man with a homemade jetpack flies over the Grand Canyon with nothing but guts and awesomeness.

Captain America, worth watching?

It's a new trailer of Marvel's new super movie.  It's a much better trailer than the first one, which did not tickle my fancy.  Marvel has had some hits, and misses in the past, but they have a good stride now in which they're making movies now that makes movie goers want to come back for more.

J.K. Rowling Announcement

So, most of us knew that J.K. Rowling was going yo announce something today.  I'm still not sure what Pottermore is but it sounds exciting.  I wonder if it's going to be like choose your own adventure books or something.

Stan Lee's Superhumans is Super Enjoyable

I could only find trailers in russian, apparently it's really popular over there.  But if you guys can't speak russian, what's wrong with you ;)
I found this show on Netflix, by the way let's just say Netflix watch instantly is awesome!! Anyway I found this show on netflix and got hooked immediately.  Sure some episodes don't really have good superhuman powers on them, but each episode has at least one you'd want to watch.  The Quick Draw guy was awesome, so was The Human Calculator.  I'm just saying nerds who've always dreamed of siperheroes being real somewhere on this planet should watch this show, it be awesome.

Syfy Revitilfied

So, I'm semi-excited to see the new season of Warehouse 13.  A little worried that Myka won't be coming back, but otherwise the promos look decent.

Also, hurray for Eureka.  Although I believe it will never be as good as it's first season, and that it's running out of gas soon, I still enjoy watching an episode or 10.

And finally, a new show premiering soon, Alphas.  I'm on the fence with this one, there have been many superhero type shows that have failed.  For instance I choose to believe the show Heroes stopped airing after season 1, as it was a trainwreck pretty much after that.
Anyway, Alphas at least look interesting enough to watch the pilot and see for yourself if it should continue.

Shin Chan!!

Shin Chan is seriously great.  Laugh my butt off every time I watch it.

An awesome clip of hilariousness.  Now I don't normally like fart or penis jokes.  But Shin Chan gives me a nice feeling watching any joke.  Also you can watch full episodes of Shin Chan on youtube under the FUNimation channel, but here's a small clip to get you excited

Man in a Box

You know, I had dreams about an awesome fort like this that you crawl through like a maze and get up top.  Of course in my dream the fort was made of swiss cheese and the entrance were the holes in the cheese.  Still this was so awesome watching this I had to post it.

Doctor Who!!!! DUH

What kind of nerd would I be if I didn't mention The Doctor.  The man with the TARDIS, the man with a plan, or at least a sonic screwdriver, or at least something timey wimey.  I am looking forward to the next half of the season this fall.  Just a little spoiler for those who haven't watched the last episode, River Song is Melody Pond.  You see River instead of Pond, Song instead of Melody, switch the names around and you got River Song.  I wasn't completely sold on Rivers' character for the longest times.  I found myself really annoyed at her catchphrases.  It wasn't until this last episode that I liked her.  Anyway enough boring writing, let's get with the pictures.

Star Trek Doctor Who mash up.
                                                                  Amy Pond
The First, The Original, The Doctor

                                                                   Awesome Dalek pic

Bigfoot Sighting!!

Bigfoot has been sighted on a policeman car cam.  This is exciting, or at least proof of the missing link
                                                               Look for yourselves

It has shaken my faith that bigfoot lives in the Rockies.  Bigfoot has now migrated south.

Children's Hospital

Reminder to all with basic cable.  Check out Children's Hospital on Adult Swim.  It's a great show that pokes fun at all medical shows ever.    Here's a clip of it

Little Nemo is Awesome

This was the best trailer I could find on youtube, which should say alot about where the trailers are.  I just needed to post this and say Pajamapajamapajama-Pajama!

Some of you should really watch it.  You'll either love it or hate, like most things.

My Zombie Guide for Laymans

Let's face it, the zombie apocalypse is coming and coming soon.  You need to learn the best ways to protect yourself from the zombie hordes.

First things first, read this book.  Knowledge is power, and power is needed after zombies overrun the earth.

Next you'll want to stock up on food and weapons.  Zombies don't want to be your friend, so do not share your food with them.  Weapons on the other hand, are a gift you should give to any zombie crossing your path.

Last but not least you'll need a safe location, well this video has you covered.  Zombie proofing your house has never been easier.

That's the basics for surviving zombie infested world.  Now get out there and get prepared.

The Niche Edition of Awesome Learning

When you learn, you grow.  When you learn from comedians, you laugh your butt off.  I myself am addicted to panel shows in Britain.  My favorite is a show called QI hosted by Stephen Fry.  Each series is a letter, the first being A, the second being B, third C, etc...  What I am showing you is series H episode with special guest star Daniel Radcliffe.  It's not the best episode, but it's good for newbies to the show

This show is awesome for people who like learning random facts about random things made fun of by comedians.  And let's face it, who doesn't like that.

Video Game Edition

Super excited bout this one, Elder Scrolls V looks and plays beautifully and can not wait for the 11/11/11 release date.

                                                             Batman Arkham City
Catwoman now a playable character. I know I know I'm a little behind on the news, but this trailer just excites me.  You should watch Catwoman kick some thug a$$.

                                                         Shadows of the Damned
Just released in the U.S. today, this is the review of Shadows of the Damned.  Considered a dark horse by most, it's definitely worth a watch. !!WARNING!!  This video does show some gore and kids should not watch this until your parents leave the room.

My New Webgod

The coolist link ever to click

Just so you know, this link is for fellow nerds, because it is nerd nerdvana.  Of course there are other nerdy cool websites but I just like this one the best.  Don't take my word for it, click the link and learn how famous nerds live.

This is weirder than....

I love Weird Al, and you don't have to be a kid to like him.  He is a real genius being able to parody all the stuff he parodies so perfectly.  This is his newest music video parody called "Perform This Way", a parody of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way".  It's pretty amazing

The New Vibes

Been a day, some day, since I've blogged.  I feel as though Wil Wheaton has purged my laziness for writing in my blog.  I'm going to do some experiments now.

For new viewers who like my new style, and did not see my old style, do not look at any posts before this.  It's just a few short stories and little boring details about my life.  You probably would not like it.  Fair warning to all new viewers and followers

Abbott and Costello bit

Just FYI I do not claim this as my own.

(Lou Costello is considering becoming a ballplayer. Bud Abbott wants to make sure he knows what he's getting into.)

Abbott: Strange as it may seem, they give ball players nowadays very peculiar names.
Costello: Funny names?
Abbott: Nicknames, nicknames. Now, on the St. Louis team we have Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third--
Costello: That's what I want to find out. I want you to tell me the names of the fellows on the St. Louis team.
Abbott: I'm telling you. Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third--
Costello: You know the fellows' names?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: Well, then who's playing first?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: I mean the fellow's name on first base.
Abbott: Who.
Costello: The fellow playin' first base.
Abbott: Who.
Costello: The guy on first base.
Abbott: Who is on first.
Costello: Well, what are you askin' me for?
Abbott: I'm not asking you--I'm telling you. Who is on first.
Costello: I'm asking you--who's on first?
Abbott: That's the man's name.
Costello: That's who's name?
Abbott: Yes.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Costello: When you pay off the first baseman every month, who gets the money?
Abbott: Every dollar of it. And why not, the man's entitled to it.
Costello: Who is?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: So who gets it?
Abbott: Why shouldn't he? Sometimes his wife comes down and collects it.
Costello: Who's wife?
Abbott: Yes. After all, the man earns it.
Costello: Who does?
Abbott: Absolutely.
Costello: Well, all I'm trying to find out is what's the guy's name on first base?
Abbott: Oh, no, no. What is on second base.
Costello: I'm not asking you who's on second.
Abbott: Who's on first!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Costello: St. Louis has a good outfield?
Abbott: Oh, absolutely.
Costello: The left fielder's name?
Abbott: Why.
Costello: I don't know, I just thought I'd ask.
Abbott: Well, I just thought I'd tell you.
Costello: Then tell me who's playing left field?
Abbott: Who's playing first.
Costello: Stay out of the infield! The left fielder's name?
Abbott: Why.
Costello: Because.
Abbott: Oh, he's center field.
Costello: Wait a minute. You got a pitcher on this team?
Abbott: Wouldn't this be a fine team w i t h o u t a pitcher?
Costello: Tell me the pitcher's name.
Abbott: Tomorrow.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Costello: Now, when the guy at bat bunts the ball--me being a good catcher--I want to throw the guy out at first base, so I pick up the ball and throw it to who?
Abbott: Now, that's he first thing you've said right.
Abbott: Don't get excited. Take it easy.
Costello: I throw the ball to first base, whoever it is grabs the ball, so the guy runs to second. Who picks up the ball and throws it to what. What throws it to I don't know. I don't know throws it back to tomorrow--a triple play.
Abbott: Yeah, it could be.
Costello: Another guy gets up and it's a long ball to center.
Abbott: Because.
Costello: Why? I don't know. And I don't care.
Abbott: What was that?
Costello: I said, I DON'T CARE!
Abbott: Oh, that's our shortstop!

Happy Fathers Day

Yo yo yo happy popop day people.  My dad was really great today, he was in such a great mood today, plus we now have tentative plans to go to Kansas City at the end of July!!  Someone I know who shall remain named but I won't tell anyone on here what it is, doesn't know who Abbott and Costello are.  I did a double take when I heard that.  My gods of comedy that they never heard of just floored me.  But enough of that, I am doing some things, I found the blue notepad, it didn't show me as much inspiration as I thought it would.  So much for fever induced prophecy dreams.

My Prophetic Pathetic Dream

I was standing outside a radio station in Florida(I live no where near Florida).  There was a fold up table in front of the station with a woman standing behind it.  She was older, had big glasses and curly red hair.  On the table was brick a brack, random stuff with random prices.  Then famous authors would walk up to her and hand her a check, like a donation.  She stared at me expectantly.  I told her I didn't have his money right now so I couldn't make a donation, but what if I bought something off the table?  She said it'd be alright.  I knew that I only had a dollar in my wallet so I picked something that was only a dollar.  A notepad with blue paper.  We exchanged money with notepad and I was on my way.  For some reason I had a cheeseburger too.

I believe that woman was some sort of god or fate or something important that all authors can attribute their good fortune to.  I must find that blue notepad so I too can one day be a great author, so I will have money, so that I can donate to her properly.

Does any of this make sense?

A Little Warning

I am feeling a little crappy right now so this is going to be a short posting.  1st It's going to be awhile until I continue the story from Prophecy Girl.  I really want to flesh out the story and characters before I write anymore.  I am thinking about a month before that story is continued, just fair warning because I wanted to make other short stories that have nothing to do with the storyline of the previous two short stories.

But I will continue to try and write everyday even if it's an update like this.

A Sincere Thank You

I've noticed an upswing in my blog viewership of late.  I wanted to thank all viewers for coming by, and encourage you all to comment if possible.  All comments are appreciated and will help me in the future.

Thank you again for looking into this mystery hole of absolute nonsensical writing.

Prophecy Girl

I awoke screaming.  I had that nightmare again.  That evil man had demolished the world.  He terrorized everything with an iron fist.  But this time I saw a boy standing up to him.

I had to find this boy.  He looked to be about my age.  I get out of bed and walked to the bathroom.  Looking in the mirror, I saw gum in my hair.  My little brother must have put it in my hair while I was sleeping.  I screamed down the stairs at him.

I grumble and pull the gum out, taking a shower to wash my hair well.  I get dressed and walk downstairs to eat my breakfast.  My evil brother was already there eating cereal.  He looked up when I walked in and smiled slyly at me.

"Urgh!" I screamed.  "Mom!  Nate put gum in my hair again."

My mom walked out of the kitchen, "Let me see," she said.  She looked at my hair, "I don't see  anything,".

"Of course you don't," I said.  "I just washed my hair."
I turned towards Nate,  "Why did you even do it you little Nat?"  I asked

"Because your a freak!" he screamed.  "You can see into the future and it's not natural."

I gasped,  "I never told anyone that!"  Sudden realization dawned on me,  "You've been looking in my diary!"

My mom who was listening to all of this, interrupted us arguing,  "Enough, both of you!  I can't handle this today, I have a very important meeting to go to."

She turned to Nate, "Nate, stop tormenting your sister."

"But she's a freak," he said.

"I said ENOUGH young man."

And that was the end of it.  My mom soon left for work after that.   My brother decided to eat his breakfast in his room, which was very lucky for me, because at that moment, I had a vision.  It was the boy I'd seen in my dream.  He was in a park I recognized.  The park was halfway across town.  The vision show the sun in the middle of the sky, so it was a little after noon.  I couldn't tell the exact time.  The boy seemed to be wandering with no real destination in mind.

Something told me I needed to meet him.  If I left now I'd make it across town by the time he was there.  I dried my hair, got dressed, and ran out the door before my brother knew I was leaving.

I reached the park a little before 1 p.m..  I looked around but I didn't see the boy.  I sat on a bench for about 15 minutes before I started to give up hope.  Maybe I was crazy.  I had no proof this boy even existed, let alone that he'd be here at this time.

I got up to leave.  It was then that I saw him just entering the park.  I ran right over to him.  He was surprised to say the least.  He was staring at me, waiting for me to speak, but at that moment my brain froze.  What was I supposed to say to him?  'Hi, I had a vision you would fight against a great evil someday, how are you?'  That seemed a laugh.

"Uuuhhhh,"  I stuttered.

"Yes?" the boy replied.

"My name is Zoey," I said.

"Nice to meet you Zoey," he said.

"Well the thing is, um, what I mean is I was supposed to meet you here."

"Ookkaayyy," he said.  "And who told you to meet me here?"

"No one, I just had a vision of it," I blurted out real fast.

"Really?" he asked.

It didn't sound like he was mocking me.  It sounded like he genuinely wanted an answer.  So I told him all I knew.

"Yeah, I have these abilities, to sort of see into the future, especially while I am asleep.  And I keep having this vision that a man would rule the world.  This man can't be killed by anything, and everyone was so deathly afraid of him no one would stand up to him.  Except you, I saw you in my vision standing up to him.  I didn't see who won cause I woke up, but I had this feeling I needed to find you and warn you about this man."  I was slightly out of breath after saying all of this.

The only thing he asked was, "You say the man who will rule the world can't be killed?"

"Yeah," I answered.

"I think I know who you're talking about," he said.

"You believe me?  Who is it?"  I asked both questions at once.

"That man in your vision, is my father," he answered.  "And I believe you have powers Zoey, because I have powers too."

I was awestruck and excited,  "Really, what are your powers?"

"I can control the speed of time,"  He said.  "I can slow time down, speed it up, or even stop it.  But it only works for brief periods of time."

I was beside myself, I wasn't alone in this world.  I wasn't a freak like my brother said I was.  I had just met someone like me.  The boy continued talking.

"Listen, I am actually searching for people with powers to help me with my dad.  I never imagined someone with powers would find me.  The problem is I can't find these people on my own, but with your abilities, together we may find someone who can help."

"You want me to go with you and help you?"  I asked.

"Essentially yes," he replied.

"Let me think about this," I said sitting down on a nearby bench. "I don't even know your name."

"Oh, forgive me for being rude, my name is David," he said.

I sat there thinking when another vision cropped up.  It was of a man, about 25 years old with blond hair and a goatee.  He was in a big city with sky scrapers all around him.  He went into an alley, looking to make sure no one else was there.  And then he jumped.  All the way to the top of a building, landing on the roof.

I realized he was like us, me and David.  And I could be a help to David who were searching for these people.

"All right," I said. "I'll go."

"Cool," he said clearly excited.  "Go pack some stuff and meet me at my hotel."
He reached into his pocket and gave my a card from the hotels desk.
"I'll be waiting in the lobby," he said as he walked away.

All I could think of on my way home is how my mom is going to kill me for leaving without saying anything.  But my mind was already decided.  I was going to have an adventure.  An adventure to save the world.

A van parked next to the park had watched the entire conversation between the two kids.  When the kids split up the people in the van needed to know who to follow.  They picked up the phone, and the person on the other end of the line said, "Follow the boy."  And they did.
New short story coming today, I'm kind of busy right now but I'll do it sometime this afternoon.

Night World revisited....

People who know me knows what this title means.  For the ones who don't, just to inform you I had a an idea for a novel called Night World.  I came up with this when I had zero sleep.  And it periodically returns to me.  Anyway inside joke for people who know what I'm talking about but I've starting seeing the monsters again.  Which means it's my cue to go to sleep.  But I feel I should continue Night World one day.  Before someone steals that title.
Alright avid readers, that means you mom, I haven't written anything today.  That is mainly because I wanted my next story to be a bit better than the last so I have been in planning stages.  So wait for it in the next couple of days.

Next on the boy with no name

So, my short story had some holes in it, being that it was only created in an hour, I think I did an ok job.  Yes the main character has no name, and I mean to keep it that way if I can.  Yes the plot was rather confusing, I hope that the next installment will help fill in some blanks.

The next short story is a continuation of the last and I am calling it Prophecy Girl.

4th Dimensional Dad

My dad has a power.  He can travel through time.  He never told me how he got his power, but he does use it quite a lot.  Sometimes he's missing for days, only to come back with a full beard and worn out clothes.  One time when I was ten he went back in time to see Blackbeard the pirate and was gone for two weeks!  Only for him it was five whole years.  His power seemed to have no limit.  I often bumped into different versions of my dad from different timelines.  Today I ran into a sixteen year old version of my dad.  He looked dorky and was wearing glasses.  He looked around excited at our mansion yelling, "This is mine twenty years from now?"

Yes it was true, we were rich, very, very rich.  My dads time travel allowed him to follow stocks trend before they happened, and it allowed him to get treasure from the past long thought missing.

My sixteen year old dad ran over to me, asking who I was, "Who are you?"
Different dads coming form the past or future happened more and more these days, so I sort of ignored him, went into the hallway and shouted to my dad from the present, "Dad, there's another one of you here!"
He came rushing down the hall in a bit of a huff, collected his past self and whispered something in his ear I couldn't make out.  He finished by saying in a loud voice, probably for my benefit, "Now go back where you came from."

Sixteen year old dad looked a bit confused but did as he was told, and was gone just gone, no poof or anything.  My dad told me the cook was making spaghetti and if I wanted some, I had to come now.
I loved the cooks spaghetti, but hated eating at the table, because it was so long and my mom and dad were so far apart from me, it felt lonely.  After supper I finished my homework and went to bed after wishing my parents goodnight.  It was still pretty early at night, but I had to get up at six the next day to practice a presentation for the academy.  So I went to sleep.

I was woken with a noise, talking, a lot of it, but it sounded like one guy talking to himself.  Urgh, my dad was with other versions of himself downstairs.  I decided to go down and give them a talking to about how I needed my sleep.  I walked down to his study entrance, the door being slightly opened and peeked inside.  There were I counted eight of my dad.  There was the sixteen year old dad in the corner looking slightly out of place with the older wiser dads.  There was one who looked ancient, he was in the corner holding a cane to prop himself up.  The rest looked more or less like my dad, only slightly older or younger.  They were discussing something about paradoxes.

"Listen, the fact is if we haven't caused a paradox by now, it isn't likely to happen," one of them said.

"We haven't all been in the same room, in the same time before," said another.

"What if this does cause a paradox, and rips a hole in time?" asked the sixteen year old.

"Not going to happen kid.  Trust me, the time stream always corrects itself," said an older version

"What if this works, but it gets rid of our power?" someone asked

"Enough!" screamed the old man. "I am tired of this bickering, it's proof enough we've caused a paradox already just by being in the same room as each other.  But the present one doesn't remember being in this room when he was your age." He pointed a wrinkly finger at the sixteen year old.  "This experiment is going to work, all we need to do is travel back to our own time, and are powers will have increased ten fold."

All of them looked excited about that.  I didn't know my dad loved his power that much, he barely even talked about it.  I was starting to get a little worried, watching them argue about which one was my present dad.

"It's August, 2007," one said.

"No, no, it's April 14th 2015." another said

"It's 1997," another said.

They settled it by looking at the calender on the wall, 2011.  Which meant all would be traveling back to their own time except my dad, who would be staying in the study.  They all wished him good luck, And they left at the same time.

Except they didn't just disappear like usual, instead this electric blue light formed in the middle of the room, sparking, and shifting.  My dad looked surprised but pleased, as it came closer to him.  I couldn't stand it anymore and opened the door.  "Dad, what's going on?" I asked, but my voice was carried away by the noise of the giant blue orb thing.  He looked my way in shock, and screamed, "Get out of here!"
But it was too late the orb shot out a bolt of electricity right into my dads chest, and then mine.  I flew back out of the room into the hall and collapsed.

A couple of weeks later and my dad was growing more and more distraught.  His powers did not increase, they changed completely.  He no longer could travel through time.  I found out he loved to travel through time, and hated staying in one time, because to him it was too boring.  Never again will he be able to hear Mozart play, or watch the Sistine Chapel being painted.  He will never listen to the great philosophers, or watch a great and forgotten war unfold.  His new power was his worst nightmare.  He was now immortal.  His body was frozen in time, he would never age.  He didn't need to sleep, or eat, or even breath if he didn't want to.  Any cut or scrape he got would reverse itself immediately.  He was stuck going through time in a linear fasion, and would always be stuck.  And he blamed me.  He thought if I hadn't interfered, none of this would have happened, that his powers would have grown, not changed.

I believe my dad was slowly descending into madness, so when my powers started showing themselves, he grew furious.  He thought I stole his power on purpose, that I wanted him gone.  So he disowned me, told me to leave, banishing me from the house.  I pleaded with my mom to convince him otherwise, and though my mom loved me, she had long since loved my fathers money more.  I could do nothing but leave, but this isn't the end. No it's just the beginning.  My power is to control time itself, I can slow it down, speed it up, or even stop time.  I will find others like me, dad and I can't be the only ones with powers out there.  I'll find someone who can help me to get my dad out of his insanity.  Just you wait dad.

I promise to post a short story soon! about a guy == or a girl

Awesome squared, meet your match.

So, it has been awhile; and I have alot to tell.  First things first, got my GED a month ago, and applied for college. Granted it's community college, but I'm still excited.  Second, well it's kind of personal but let's just say I've had an epiphany about how my life has gone and how to change it.  I think I might have grown up, a bit.  I just got a new car, and I'm going to sell my old one to a friend of mine.  Tomorrow I have no plans but to clean out my old car and make it nice looking.

It seems like a lot of people around me have sort of sped past me, like they're doing things faster and better than me, and it's nerve rackingly stressful.

There are things to note, about my life.  A lot of my stuff has broken or stopped working, which shows me my karma is bad.  these next couple of months are both exciting and stressful.  Looking for a job is fast becoming a priority of mine.  I write here as a sort of diary I know anyone can peek through, but also knowing no one reads it.  It will be a chore to continue writing on here; to think of things to write about, but I feel my stress lifting away as I write about things with no pressure from anyone, except myself of course.

Me love you long time

It's been awhile, but I have some sad news.  the next Dresdon book isn't coming out until july! That saddens me :{.  Alas not much has happened since last I blogged.  I got very sick last week, and the premiere of all those shows happened too.  I've been practicing the guitar, got a tuner, and nylon strings.  Dead space 2 came out yesterday, and I already beat.  Of course I was playing on casual so I could get through it fast, but it was a good game altogether.  That's about it I guess, keep reading peeps.
